E J Henderson recently conducted a flag football clinic for 5th graders at Richard R. Green Central Park. He had great lead-up activities and kept students actively involved. When the clinic was over, he gave Vikings gear to all of the participants and I'm sure it was a day that the students will never forget!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

In the fall of the year students signed the Vikings Challenge of 60 minutes of activity daily. Throughout the year we have worked on becoming stronger by doing mile runs. Even our youngest runners improved their times. It was great to see the pride the students have from challenging themselves to accomplish something that they thought was not possible only a few months ago!
