Physical Activity Participation

Every Wednesday, East Middle School students participate in Fuel Up to Play 60 Flag Football after school. We show that we can all do it! The students have a blast while socializing with peers they may have never met before if it weren't for this club. Boys and girls, with different athletic abilities, stay after school every week to get out in the fresh air and Play 60. At the end of our session, we re-fuel our bodies with a smoothie or a chocolate milk. Thanks Fuel Up to Play 60 for our Flag Football Kit!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

The students have made this play last during the school year. They are excited and kept going through the cold months. They would like to have indoor Flag Football too!!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Many teachers stayed after school to participate with the students. It was so much fun!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

More students have asked to participate in the Fuel Up to Play 60 activities that we offer at school.
