Eat Around the Rainbow

During lunch, students were encouraged to sample a variety of fruits and vegetables as part of an event called "Eating Around the Rainbow.” Items such as tomatoes, oranges, carrots, corn, broccoli, edamame, blueberries, and cabbage were arranged to represent all the colors of the rainbow, giving students the opportunity to try new foods or discover nutritious favorites. The hope was that students would identify at least three fruits or vegetables to enjoy at home with their families.
