Our Fuel Up to Play 60 team worked together to offer suggestions and market healthy options for the lunch options in the cafeteria. Our team made flyers and advertisements for our school TV program to promote these healthy food options! As a result, the new Chicken Salad was a big hit! Many students chose this option for lunch when it was first presented as an option on 10/11. Our team will continue to focus on healthy options for students as the school year progresses.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Group members offered suggestions in our Google Classroom then collaborated to create various flyers and announcements to promote the new Chicken Salads offered in the Cafeteria.

How did you accomplish your goals?

All group members contributed using their strengths to accomplish our goal.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to assist the cafeteria with making of healthy options all school year long! This was our first of many marketing campaigns.
