Community Involvement

Many families in our community do not have cooking equipment in their homes. We found out that our backpack program food was not being used by families because of this situation. Students and families will gather for a night of cooking classes and leave with cooking skills, healthy recipes, and new electric skillets. We hope that this is a successful program that we can repeat annually.
