Family Fitness Night Featuring Local Fresh Homemade Soup

This play was a family fitness night. The title is "Are you fitter than your fifth grader". Our local high school sent over the cheerleaders to do the fitness testing and families competed to see who was fitter. After the event local vegetables were used to make fresh homemade soup and families stayed for dinner.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adults worked together to complete the P.E. Challenge tasks. They rotated through 6 different fitness challenges including, jump rope, hula hoop, balance shuffle, throw and catch, volley up, and paddle strike. Local vegetable were used to make and serve a healthy soup after the event for families to enjoy.
