Health and Wellness vendors were invited to come to our school and share information with our families. Families were able to participate in fitness activities with Camp Gladiator, OUR Classroom teachers lead volleyball, DrumFit, GoNoodle, and climbing our cargo net. Families were able to make and take home peace areas and air sprays. Students and Adults were treated with a chair massage. Parents could sign up for classes at Orange Theory Fitness or Weight Watchers. Students were intrigued with the "Did you know?" station which showed how much sugar was in the drinks kids consume and how much salt they eat with their chips. A hygienist was on hand to show everyone how to properly brush and floss their teeth. And SO much more. Everyone had a great time.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students helped set up all the stations along with the station dividers for the event. During the event, students and parents had to participate in all the events together, hence the name Family Health and Fitness night!
