Family Training Camp Night
Community Family Training Camp Night was an enjoyable and productive evening getting our community involved in physical activity. Students and family members participated in football drills in a fun and engaging way while increasing their heart rates.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our FUTP 60 student team collaborated with Program Advisors to plan football drills for students and families to participate in. We ordered equipment, set up the drills, taught and demonstrated proper technique, and rotated families through the drills.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Students, families, and community members joined each other to participate in physical activity while increasing their values for being active. Community members were able to see and use new equipment that is available for personal, organization, or group use.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We have made equipment-use agreements to make all our equipment available for other school or community events. Our purpose and goal was to provide extra resources for our community to get active!
