Access to Healthy Foods

Students were taught the process of obtaining milk from the farm to school and their homes.

How did you accomplish your goals?

The goal was to educate students about the process of getting milk to their home or school. The Program Advisor obtained posters with Staley the Bear and posted them in the cafeteria and around the school.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The posters with the mascot created more impact for the students. The students were able to read and understand the process it takes to get milk from the "Farm to School." The students realized it is not an easy task to complete.
