Farm to School

Students at Central School organized a Farm to School Day on Feb. 19. The mission of the Farm to School Day is to expose the students and guests with the opportunity to become aware of the different aspects within agriculture. The presenters provided vital knowledge and amazing demonstrations. To name a view of the exhibits viewed by students are as following: pigs, dairy cows, cattle, farrier, draft horse, horse chiropractor, barrel racing, and goat tying. Students and guests enjoyed a fun-filled day learning and gaining knowledge about different aspects of agriculture.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

This project was student led and guided by adult supervision. Students reached out to the community encouraging local dairy farmers, local horse farmers, and local veterinarians to participate.
