Farm to School Taste Test

Since we have partnered with a farm in our local community, our students have shown an increased interest in tasting things they have never tried during family mealtime. Taste tests are prepared by a farm to table local chef. Past taste tests have been sauteed fresh cauliflower with garlic, kale chips, and recently fresh smoothies and honey roasted Brussels sprouts. This year we have a planned winter squash medley taste test in January and spring vegetables in May 2016.
