Community Involvement

We incorporated community members and involved them with our Farm to School Play. We made a video clip and posters.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We asked local dairy farmers for photos and clips to make a short video clip to promote at school. We have also made a poster. This involvement with the community has a supportive and lasting effect.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The involvement of the community helps and they appreciate being noticed and realize they are an important part of in our Healthy Eating Plays.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will post the posters and keep them in the "spotlight" and continue to "grow" our Farm to School Play adding the FFA chapter to add to what we are already doing and promoting.
