Success with Funds

I was able to purchase different types of fruit and a canopy to set up at field day as one of the stations the students had to have stamped. In order for their card to be stamped they had to try a different fruit. This encouraged them to try different fruit choices as a snack while they were playing. This also made them aware that fruit can be not only a lunch choice, but also a healthy snack choice during the day.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The parents and the students helped set up for the event and also encouraged other students to try different fruits; they also encouraged the adults that attended.
