Our families needed a space to play and enjoy the sports they love. We had a lot of grass space that was unusable. After a long process, the land has been leveled to make it flat for soccer and football. The families in our community will have a place to play! We are still acquiring funds for high quality soccer goals.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals by working hard and not taking no for an answer. Our families needed this space, so we were willing to fight for those who are important to us. We kept questioning those who had the power to make this project happen. We didn't give up!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This is something that will have a lasting impact for many years to come. Our community families will be able to have a space to run and be safe while playing the games they love. This play is providing an opportunity for whole families to engage in healthy activities.
