Access to Healthy Foods
We have been trying for the longest time to have ALL of our students eat a breakfast. In the past, our students had the option of eating or not when they arrived at school and of course, most of our students bypassed it. We had meetings with our cafeteria manager discussing how we can assure our selves that our students have an opportunity to eat. With breakfast served in the classroom, we had a higher percentage of our students eating !

How did you accomplish your goals?

One word: "persistence"!!!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Having a higher percentage of students eating breakfast!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Continue meeting with the cafeteria manger to make sure ALL students have an opportunity to eat a well balanced meal
