First Year Fun!
- Melissa McNamara, Garden Lakes Elementary School
- Community Involvement
It all began in July when I attended my first Fuel Up to Play 60 meeting. I knew from that day that this was an amazing program and I wanted to be involved. Making sure kids are active and eating healthy is very important to me. This past week a member of the community, our PE teacher, and I decorated a portion of our cafeteria and the community room with Fuel Up to Play 60 posters, healthy eating tips, and recipes. We also got our Kickoff planned for the students and started to establish our student leadership team. It has been a very eventful and productive week.
