First Year with FUTP 60  was a Success
With our funding, we were able to purchase two 25 gallon emulsifiers to make yogurt smoothies as a main entree for breakfast once weekly. Students and food service worked together at coming up with the smoothie flavors. Announcements were made by students on the all-call intercom to remind students of Kickoff week activities and smoothie days. We were also able to purchase 3 IPADS to help with logging and tracking laps ran on our mighty milers.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Food service and students met together to come up with what to put in the yogurt smoothies.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will continue to incorporate yogurt smoothies into our breakfast program for years to come.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

I am seeing students and staff becoming more aware of beverage choices and understanding the importance of eating a healthy breakfast.
