Physical Activity Participation

We did some research online and found an activity that allowed our parents to get involved with their children during our spring break. Our theme was "MOOOOVIng this month of March" and we even included a cow that was exercising on our bulletin board. We sent out a flyer with instructions on how to send their photos; the photos have been put on our bulletin board and have been a big hit. We have seen that not only students and parents stop by to see them, but our staff do as well.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We were able to accomplish our goals by using different media outlets. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook were the most popular with most of our parents. In the flyer that was sent home, our parents were instructed to take a picture of their child doing some type of physical activity for 60 minutes and then told to post on a media outlet with our personal hagstag, which was #fitforfamilyjaniestark.
