Mannington Twp. School created a team for the Fitbit/Step It Up Challenge at https://www.stepitupusa.org/ Participants steps were recorded from October 13-26th. We encouraged our students, staff, family & friends, and community members to join us in this competition hosted by the US Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Murthy.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Mannington Twp. School plans on having a Walking Club at recess time each day during nice weather days. We would like to encourage the number of steps walked during the day. Many of our students already own Fitbit or similar devices. We would like to make walking a priority in our students lives.
