Physical Activity Participation

In coordination with the local YMCA, we started a flag football summer program recess. This was the first year that we started the event and even though the turnout was small, there is a lot of buzz and activity around it and positive reactions. We believe that next summer will be even bigger and we are looking forward to the new challenge it will bring.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students led the event, and parent volunteers and teaching staff observed and helped instruct when needed.
