Flag Football Featuring the Fitzmorris Broncos
At our first Fuel Up to Play 60 meeting the Leaders chose to KICK OFF the year with Flag Football. The older students asked if they could teach the younger students the fundamentals of Flag Football and I agreed! Seeing the older kids take on that Leadership role was amazing to see! They were all very patient and were very good with the younger students. The fundamentals were taught the first meeting and by the second meeting the younger students knew exactly where to stand and what to do. I am amazed at the Leadership my Leaders have shown so far! I have a great bunch of students and athletes.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

The students have asked if they can continue to help with the younger students and I have agreed to this. I feel its good for the younger students to see that Leadership comes in many ways.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

I have seen the older students embrace the younger students more. They seem to be taking care of the whole school in a very positive way with their positive attitudes and leadership.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals by being patient and working together as a team!
