Football in the Snow
Our students promoted and ran a Flag Football activity after school. It happen to snow the day before, so we ended up playing football in the snow and the students loved it! When we were done playing football, we brought the students in. We served the smoothies and healthy snacks so they could warm up before they went home.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

As the advisors for the FUTP 60 team, we guided them through the process of promoting the event. The students created posters and announcements. We also were there that night to help with the game and food.

How did you accomplish your goals?

By working together and promoting the event. Ensuring fun so students will talk about it and continue to come to more of our events.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Almost having to cancel the event due to bad weather. We were not sure if we should have it in the snow due to safety. However, we went ahead and did it and the students loved it. We came in early and cut the playing time a little shorter so the students did not get too cold.
