Fox Valley Tough Kid Challenge
As a district, the Physical Education departments in collaboration with community businesses, put on a fundraising event to help raise money for each elementary school's Physical Education department. The event is call the Fox Valley Tough Kid Challenge. It is an obstacle course with a variety of physical challenges on it. We had over 1200 kids participate this year. The funds raised are used to support the Physical Education department needs across the district. Our FUTP 60 team served milk provided by the Wisconsin Dairy Farmers at the finish line. Its great way to get students active and healthy.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The adults planned the event. The students handed out milk and participated in the event.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our goal was to raise money to buy much needed Physical Education equipment.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The weather can be challenging. It did rain, but the event still went on as planned.
