At Gloria Hicks Elementary, every student in pre-kinder through fifth grade has free breakfast everyday. The students also have breakfast in their classrooms. The students have cereal, apples, bananas, fruit cups, banana bread, and orange juice for breakfast. In addition, the students have free lunch everyday.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The cafeteria staff gets the breakfast ready everyday for the students and they deliver the breakfast to each classroom. The teachers are checking that every student is eating breakfast and if a student arrives late, the students are able to go to the cafeteria and have breakfast.
