We host Fuel Up to Play 60 Family nights monthly as an open invitation to our students, families and community for an hour of activity. Our hospital's physical therapy department presented a program called Free to Play, which taught participants to move in ALL directions.

How did you accomplish your goals?

One the goals of our FUTP 60 Program this year is to reach out and build community partnerships.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan monthly events with different activities each time. This gives students a month to practice what they learn before learning something new.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Our biggest challenge is access to the computers. It proves too difficult with young children to remember a username and password as well as utilize the site. We take ideas from the site and implement them into group activities for better results.
