Access to Healthy Foods

We are offering as many local fruits and veggies as we can. We make sure the students know where they come from and we also post the nutrition information so they can see the health benefits.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students are taking more veggies and are eating them when we spotlight them, and they know they are local produce from our own farmers.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Worked with our produce company to see what vegetables they were purchasing locally.
