Our school pledged to get three servings of dairy a day and bike from Tennessee to California visiting farms along the way. We bought stationary bikes and a smoothie stand with our grant money. We had a big kickoff with the dairy alliance. Our school dressed up in their favorite farm day attire.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Every student and teacher dressed up in their farm attire and pledged to exercise and drink or eat three servings of dairy a day.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We bought our school 15 stationary bikes and a smoothie stand. The smoothie stand insures every child gets breakfast everyday.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Our school will be using the stationary bike throughout the year to travel from Tennessee to California. We will be visiting farms along the way. They will stress the importance of eating and drinking dairy to support your local farm.
