We reached out to our parents to donate fruit to our class for taste testing. It was a great success and all of our students got a chance to taste many different fruits they haven't had before. We will continue this each year.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We had both students and parents participate in the event. The parents cut up the fruit and handed it out the students. The students got to choose from all kinds of different fruit. We made smoothies and had a recipe contest and handed out awards for the best. The experience was wonderful.
