Fuel From the Garden

The students along with the farm to school and school personnel teamed up to grow a variety of vegetables in the school garden that are then used in the school cafeteria and snack program to offer healthy choices. It also allows students to get outside for fresh air and exercise in the school garden as they have to maintain and harvest the produce themselves.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We use the harvest vegetables throughout the year and the students are responsible for helping maintain the garden, which helps keep them physically involved.
