Our student council, who also serves as our Fuel Up to Play 60 team for our first year in the program, created signs and hung them around the school promoting healthy choices and to simply get moving! We are challenging all of our students to get online at FuelUpToPlay60.com and to Play 60 each day! Our students enjoyed making the colorful posters and even decorated them with our favorite NFL team, the Chiefs!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We are planning to have a spring event where our FUTP 60 team can lead small groups and teach them some fun games that they can play at recess and at home!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

So far, we have seen a lot of our students encouraging others to be active, whether it's at recess, PE, or another school activity.We are helping others to get up and get moving!

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our FUTP 60 team worked together to brainstorm ideas of how to promote living a healthy lifestyle and simply moving. One of our goals, which is our spring event, is still in progress. We are hoping to accomplish this by having our FUTP 60 teammates lead small groups and teach fun games that kids can play anywhere to reach their FUTP 60 goal each day.
