Twice a month students meet with me to talk about healthy eating choices. We talk about why it is important to eat healthy. When we make these healthy choices today how they impact our future. The students come up with ideas of healthy snacks, meals, and how to stay active for sixty minutes every day. As a group we are active, and have a healthy snack each time we meet. With Fuel Up to Play 60 students who meet with me are better equipped to have a healthier longer life.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We meet twice a month to talk about healthy eating, and how to stay physically active outside of school. We also talk about how to get others motivated to move.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals by meeting twice a month. During this time we do the challenges online, and have open discussion about how to stay active and eat healthy. I print off notes from our discussions, and encourage students to stay active and eat healthy.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan on making this Play last beyond school by setting a goal to have 60 minutes of exercise every day. We also chose healthier options when it comes to eating.
