Physical Activity Participation, Student Leadership,  Teamwork
Students in Fitzgerald classrooms are able to enjoy the ability to get up and move to reduce fatigue, increase blood flow and focus during the day. Teachers have seen a reduction in off-task behavior and more time on task when utilizing these brain boosts as needed in their daily routines. Students enjoy expending stored energy in a positive and useful way during these activities. Way to Go Fitz Teachers and Students!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students have a desire to move more during the day, which can positively affect their academics! Students are becoming more interested in healthy food choices and increased MVPA. There is an increase in positive behaviors when classroom physical activities are incorporated.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Continue to offer Go Noodle for regular classroom physical activity along with student created fitness and health videos via Green Screen Room for all school access.
