We had a great first semester starting up Fuel Up to Play 60! We had a Healthy Fruit Smoothie Booth at our Math/Science Night. We registered 60 students/staff for a Jingle Bell 5K/Fun Run in our community. We promoted a Milk Jug Contest and how important it is to drink milk. We decorated our cafeteria with healthy posters. We are planning to start a running club on Fridays.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We have meetings to plan and get the word out to our students, faculty and families. We send notes and reminders home. We reach out to all grade levels.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We are planning spring events and will continue promoting our new running club.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We ask parents and faculty to join our team and to stay active with our activities and events. We ask for their input and feedback.
