Fuel Up to Play 60 and Beat the Cziep
Our amazing Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Leaders led a wonderful school-wide assembly to kickoff our 2018-2019 Fuel Up to Play 60 program and also introduced our Walking Club with a 1-mile race to "Beat the Cziep!" Our school principal, Mr. Cziep, raced the children on our walking path (in groups, by grades), and those who crossed the finish line before the principal received a "I Beat the Cziep!" T-shirt. It was a wonderful morning full of physical activity and leadership. Thank you, FUTP 60!!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The entire student body plus teachers participated in the event. They helped each other run the race and continually supported each other and cheered on each grade. Each student knew it was mostly important to participate and be active. It is an event we will continue each year as part of our Kick Off to FUTP 60.
