Fuel Up to Play 60 Changes Students' Lives

The Fuel Up to Play 60 program is led by a 20 member team made up of students grades 3-5. One of these students," E", has served on this team for two years now and has achieved Ambassador both years. She recently wrote a note about what FUTP 60 means to her. She said that the program is "super because it helps kids like me learn how important it is to stay active and healthy. It encourages leadership and bolsters self-confidence." I couldn't have said it better. These students are taking ownership of the program and telling their friends about it. They are excited to plan Plays and talk about goals. These skills will help each student through middle school, high school, and beyond! Thank you Fuel Up to Play 60 and the Dairy Council for giving us yet another way to connect with our students!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our team of 20 students works with 2 teachers to plan Plays, complete activities, and spread the word about Fuel Up to Play 60!
