Fuel Up to Play 60 Day

We held our first FUTP 60 day. Students were assigned to groups and they rotated around to 5 different stations. We held a dance party in the cafeteria, Karate America held a demonstration in the gym, we had fitness stations in the hallway, a session on giving compliments in our library, and a presentation by Lamers Dairy on how milk is made. Students then got samples of cheese and sausage. The kids had a blast and so did our staff members!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The challenge was to find space to hold each activity and make sure it was something that the students would like to do and actually participate in. We're a PK - 8 school, so sometimes it's a challenge to find things appropriate for all age levels.
