The FUTP 60 team held a Family Fun Night event on November 16 at the school to introduce the FUTP 60 program to the families in the school. The evening was full of healthy snacks, which were donated by the families who attended, and active play for 1.5 hours.

How did you accomplish your goals?

The FUTP 60 team encouraged all who attended to sign the pledge banner to eat healthy and take part in 60 minutes of activity a day. They also made posters which referred to FUTP 60 that they decorated the gym with for the evening of the event. The student team also handed out information on how to sign up on the site and start accruing points on their own dashboard. The goal of the evening was for families and staff to take time to fuel up on a nutritional snack while actively playing.
