Physical Activity Participation,  Success with Funds

We had a Kickoff at our school that allowed all of our students to come and participate in physical activities set up in the gym as well as nutritional games. We had a circuit style set-up with our fuel up members leading groups through the activities. We have submitted an adobe voice video for you to enjoy. We also had Drew Butler, the kicker from the Arizona Cardinals, as our keynote speaker. He came to our assembly and shared fitness and nutritional information and enlisted the help of some of our students on stage to show some of the warm-up activities he does before a game! Thank you Drew and the AZ Dairy Council for your assistance!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This Play will last far beyond this school year as we are purchasing equipment as well as permanent structural items that will be available for years to come for the students to enjoy.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The main challenge is ordering equipment that is from qualifying vendors. It would be great if I could search the web for the best prices and be able to stretch our budget further.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Working together with the students and the adults to help maintain the leadership of the students.
