Clinton Middle School held our Fuel Up To Play 60 kickoff event at our school system’s first Town Hall Meeting of the year. Our school hosted the event, which included a tailgate party on the lawn with fun activities, like a corn hole toss! At the same time, we held an enrichment Expo highlighting extra-curricular activities open to our students. My students created a FUTP 60 display board and handed our informational flyers and Fuel Up to Play 60 merchandise. We were able to share our message with local businesses and civic groups, school board members and our county’s educational leadership. We were able to convince the principal at another school to start the program at his school! We also were able to garner support for our HUGE plans for this year. All in all, it was an exciting night for everyone!
