We started Illinois Ability Sports to help Rural School Districts serve their Special Education Students with free recreational sporting programs in their areas. Here in Havana Illinois, we are having a Huge Inclusion FUTP 60 Day September 7th with 10 Former NFL Players helping with our Kickoff Assemblies and Free Football Camp!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Havana Schools had no recreation programs for their Special Education students before this School Year. That now has changed for the 150 Special Education Students with free after school and weekend Sporting programs.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our whole community got involved to sponsor four up coming FUTP60 Play Days scheduled for September 7th! Even our local supermarket will be providing healthyfFruit and vegetables during our Free Inclusion Football Camp!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The inclusion of the Special Education Students! A perfect example is during each High School Football home game, one lucky Special Education Student will be presenting the game ball to the head referee before the game. Something so simple can mean so much to that Special Education student as well as all the others!
