Physical Activity Participation
Starting this Friday, McLaughlin Middle School students will be participating in Five Minute Fitness Fridays during Advisory Block. Students will follow along with a prerecorded video of other students and/or staff doing a variety of exercises for a few minutes each Friday. Additionally, many teachers have decided to add In Class Physical Activity Breaks to their class routine after being told about the benefits of these "Brain Breaks" by a few 7th grade Health Students. Our school is excited to be a part of the Fuel Up To Play 60 program and can't wait to see where it gets us!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and staff worked together to achieve our goals. Health classes completed projects to spread the word about Fuel Up To Play 60 and FACS classes are continuing work on our Nutrition Play. Administrators supported our Kick Off Event and students are excited to join the Health & Wellness Club to continue to work on Fuel UP To Play 60 initiatives. Teachers added physical activity breaks to class.
