Woonsocket Elementary has started a walking club to get students more active at school. The walking club is designed to get students up and moving and working towards walking 4 marathons during the school year. The students walk around our beautiful lake in the morning. This Play has been very successful in getting the students more physical activity as well as teachers too!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

We have noticed that the children are getting more physical activity in their day. We have also noticed that students are excited for walking club and actively participate.
