Student Leadership
At the beginning of the school year, we offered 6th graders the chance to be on the student leadership team for FUTP 60. We had all interested students fill out a short essay question and we ended up with 20 student leaders! We have had multiple meetings, brainstorming sessions, and time to think about our healthy choices. All of the members of the student leadership have, or will be, attending running club at least once! Running club includes all grades and teachers passionate about fitness. They meet weekly and keep track of their total distance for the year.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adults have come together to decided on plays, create posters for the school, and by helping hold one another accountable for their choices.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals by working together, having a positive outlook, and always encouraging one another.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Running Club has become part of the culture at Williams and will continue into the next school year.
