This past Summer we were able to send 7 students from Pennsbury School District to our FUTP 60 Ambassador Summit.  It being such a large group, the Yardley Voice decided to write an entire piece about Fuel Up to Play 60 and feature their picture on the COVER! We were thrilled to be able to give this exposure to our programs that we have running in multiple buildings. This program has helped us to involve students with different types of special needs because they are all working toward one goal, and that is to have a happy and more importantly HEALTHIER school.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students come up with the ideas. The teachers worked to get the approval, but the students run the show! It is amazing to watch their leadership abilities grow.
