Dairy MAX, the National Dairy Council and the National Football League in coordination with Llano Elementary School present Fuel Up to Play 60, which is a program that motivates students and their schools to make wellness a priority. Fuel Up to Play 60 combines the excitement of the NFL with challenges that give students the opportunity to make healthy changes that could last a lifetime. Students are motivated to “get active and play” for 60 minutes daily and to “fuel up” with critical nutrient-rich foods. A tail-gate party was held before the game and door prizes and fun activities were held to promote families to have fun being active and fit.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

In coordination with volunteers from the National Dairy Council, 4-H, and Llano Elementary we were able to make the event a huge success.
