At Airport Community Schools the Fuel Up to Play 60 initiative has taken members to a new level of leadership. Members of the Student Leadership Team run events and lead by example. They are engaged and interested in promoting our FUTP 60 initiative to their peers. Most recently SLT members took their leadership to the next level and the school board. Students from Eyler Elementary and Wagar Middle School accompanied by the schools' Program Advisors presented to the school board the importance of our FUTP 60 initiative. They conducted a food sampling and got everybody up and moving. The leadership shined through as they encouraged the presence of the FUTP 60 program throughout the district!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and Program Advisors from Loren Eyler Elementary and Wagar Middle School collaborated to put together a presentation for the school board. The presentation was well received and we were all very proud of our work.
