Student Leadership

We started a Fuel Up To Play 60 Team at Lake Asbury Elementary. The students are in grades 4-6. We meet after school every Tuesday for an hour. The team decided they wanted to make our snacks healthier so they worked on Snack Smarter In School and it was a huge success.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We worked together to come up with healthy snacks.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We are implementing this throughout our FUTP60 Team.
