Fuel Up to Play 60 Turkey Trot

To kick off Thanksgiving week “Lively” Coach L facilitated, along with many parent volunteers, teachers and middle/high school students, the Fuel Up to Play 60 Arizona Turkey Trot event. Students trotted for the health of it for an hour; each time the participant finished a lap they would receive a healthy feather on their Turkey Trot hat. Many accumulated over 15 feathers. Following the trot there were healthy snacks with carrots, celery, yogurt, and of course milk and water. Lastly, the day ended with our Kindergarten program, sponsored by our Fuel Up to Play 60 Turkey Day extravaganza, where kindergartners performed various Thanksgiving songs.
