Each day during National School Lunch week the students participated in an activity. Students served lunches alongside staff. Students brought friends that never ate school lunch to try school lunch. Students and staff gave away samples of yogurt with fruit. One staff member dressed up as a cow, as students sang & danced while serving the snacks. Students and staff wore football jerseys. Students ate samples of yogurt with fruit. Students guessed the number of school lunches served for Fuel Up To Play 60 prizes.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and Advisor met as a team and planned activities for the week. Students made posters and thought of contests to advertise National School Lunch Week and Fuel Up To Play 60.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Tastings will be held throughout the school year. Students have input into products that they enjoy and want to have at school. Students test new products to see if they would be accepted as a healthy snack at school.
