Our students worked together to brainstorm creative slogans and drawings that would get their fellow students pumped about eating healthy. The slogans ranged from fun food facts like "Carrots help you see in the dark," to catchy phrases like "Beat the Sweets" with a muscular vegetable taking on a small candy bar in the picture, and finally they promoted Fuel Up to Play 60 with its own poster. It was a fun collaborative effort for our students to participate in. After they finished creating the pictures they worked together to select high priority spots in the school to hang the pictures. Some of these spots included the gym, lunchroom, water fountain, and the milk cooler area.

How did you accomplish your goals?

The students took charge of this event and worked as a team. We set a meeting time and then from there the students really took over. We broke them into groups and then they started communicating on what they wanted to put on their posters.
